Subject: Parliamentary visit of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands to Montenegro

Dear Sir/Madam,

On behalf of the Standing Committee on European Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands, I have the honor to inform you that a delegation consisting of four committee members, from different political parties, intends to visit Montenegro from 6 until 8 July 2026.

The Dutch delegation includes:

• Ms. Rachel van Meetelen, Chair of the Committee on European Affairs

• Mr. Felix Klos, Democrats 66

• Mr. Tom van der Lee, GreenLeft-Labour Party

• Mr. Sebastiaan Stöteler, Party for Freedom

The aim of the visit is to meet and engage with Montenegrin counterparts to discuss the European Union’s enlargement policy and developments in the Western Balkans.

I am convinced that this visit will contribute to strengthening the ties between our countries and deepen the relations between our parliaments. We look forward to fruitful discussions on the current state of play of Montenegro’s European Union accession process.
