As chairs of the committees on European Affairs of the Senate and the House of Representatives of 
the Netherlands, we thank you for your congratulations on our upcoming Presidency of the Council 
of the European Union. 
 
We can confirm that we will be happy to honour your request for observer status for the COSAC 
Chairs in February and COSAC Plenary in June, as well as for the other Interparliamentary 
meetings during the Dutch EU Presidency.  The official invitations will follow approximately two 
months before the meetings will take place. 
 
On December 2, 2015 we organize a briefing on the parliamentary dimension of the Dutch EU 
Presidency for the embassies. The Swiss embassy has already confirmed its attendance. 
 
Could you please provide us with the name and contact details of a point of contact to whom we 
can send the official invitations for the meetings as well as for keeping in touch about more general 
and practical issues? We thank you in advance.
